Reflecting on the IAJES Ignatian Mentoring Program: Insights from the Participant Experience Survey
The International Association of Jesuit Engineering and Science Schools (IAJES) Ignatian Mentoring Program continues to grow as a meaningful initiative connecting faculty and staff across institutions, cultures, and regions. As part of an ongoing effort to reflect, learn, and improve, a participant experience survey was conducted to better understand the impact of the program.
A total of 13 responses were collected from mentors and mentees who participated in different editions of the program. While modest in size, the responses provide valuable insights into the quality of relationships, the lived experience of Ignatian mentoring, and its personal and professional impact.
The authors of this survey are Luis Martinez from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas, El Salvador, Rosa Nomen and Julià Sempere from IQS, Universitat Ramon Llull, Spain, Muhsin Elie Rahhal from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon, and Carlos Campos from Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, Brazil.
