Aligned with the IAJU Strategic Agenda 2024–2028, this Task Force seeks to strengthen the integration of Jesuit values and Ignatian spirituality into the life of Jesuit universities through reflection and dialogue, formation, and the exchange of experiences and resources. Faculty and administrative leaders will join a global Community of Practice, tasked with mission formation, that is responsive to diverse socio-political, religious and cultural contexts.

Mission of the Task Force

  1. Strengthen the integration of Jesuit values and Ignatian spirituality across all dimensions of university life;
  2. Foster reflection, dialogue, and formation, supported by the global exchange of resources and experiences

Objectives

  1. Strengthen formation of faculty, staff, and future leaders in Jesuit identity and mission.
  2. Leverage and share resources to promote cross-regional synergies and mission-centered development.
  3. Pilot and scale a global Community of Practice for mission integration across institutions.

Programs

Formation and Mission Integration Conference 2027

The new IAJU Task Force on Formation and Mission Integration will hold a Conference on the challenges of fostering and witnessing to Jesuit identity and values in our universities. This conference will be from July 27th to July 30th at Ateneo de Manila University.
