Representatives from Catholic institutions of higher education in Africa along with representatives from Georgetown University and Loyola Andalucía University, spent a week collaborating in Seville to advance the African Capacity Building Academy program.

Loyola Marymount University, California, recently hosted the 31st Annual IAJBS World Forum and CJBE Annual Meeting. These meetings served as an opportunity for Jesuit Higher education leaders globally to come together and discuss the evolving challenges and opportunities Jesuit Business Institutions face.

On July 8-10, 2026, the IAJU Taskforce on Holistic Wellbeing sponsored workshop on school-based mental health among 19 faculty and staff from 7 higher education institutions. The Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services facilitated the 3-day workshop that featured topics such as mental health literacy, screening, mental health first aid, and facilitating a resilience intervention.

The Jesuit Universities Humanitarian Action Network (JUHAN) is pleased to announce an upcoming Encounter in Rome. Through this project, JUHAN hopes to promote their goals of advancing both undergraduate humanitarian education and the professional field of humanitarian action.
