The AJCU-AM Assembly, held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, brought together leaders from Jesuit universities across Africa to strengthen collaboration and discuss the future of Jesuit higher education in the region.

The UNIJES VUELA Program facilitates meaningful community service through projects across Europe, Africa, and Latin America, emphasizing social action and development cooperation. With over 160 participants involved in 2023 and 2024, VUELA strengthens international collaboration and addresses global social challenges through hands-on service and engagement.

The JCAM Research Network (JCAM-RN) was established to promote collaboration and intellectual dialogue among Jesuit formation centers in Africa, responding to the call of GC 36. This initiative aims to foster a culture of research and publication while addressing logistical challenges to enhance scholarly engagement and quality within the Jesuit community.

The International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) stands in solidarity with St. Joseph University in Beirut as it faces immense challenges from the ongoing conflict.

The IAJU Task Force for Peace and Reconciliation fosters collaboration among Jesuit institutions on global peace projects through the ReconciliaNet network. A key project is the GeoVisor database, which currently maps 69 global initiatives.

In July, Universidad Loyola Andalucía's Faculty of Theology, in collaboration with the Kircher Network, organized a study week on Christian-Muslim relations in Granada. Personal reflections from participants and professor Jaime Flaquer, SJ, highlighted how the week deepened their understanding of history, enriched their appreciation for religious diversity, and fostered meaningful intercultural exchange.

The AJCU Faith, Justice & Reconciliation Assembly, held in July 2024 at Loyola University Chicago, gathered over 360 participants from Jesuit institutions to explore themes of faith, justice, and reconciliation.

The AJCU-AP CEOs Meeting 2024 in Beijing gathered leaders from 15 Jesuit institutions to discuss AI in education, mental health and upcoming initiatives.

UNIJES, formed in 2012, coordinates Jesuit higher education in Spain. It promotes collaboration in identity and mission, inspired by the Ledesma-Kolvenbach Paradigm. Over 25 years, it has strengthened leadership and integration within Jesuit institutions.

The Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE) in Mumbai is actively collaborating with his sisters' Jesuit universities in Africa, including Arrupe Jesuit University in Zimbabwe and Koshyam Jesuit University of Science in Burkina Faso.

Since 2018, international relations administrators of the Mexican Jesuit Universities (SUJ, in Spanish) have hosted a Pre-NAFSA get-together, and last year, based on the success of the SUJ reception and building on this strength of experience, they came up with a proposal to extend an invitation to all the international relations administrators of the IAJU universities attending NAFSA
