We arrived in Boston with the objectives of continuing to advance in the clarification of the reconciliation mission, to encourage commitment from the universities and to invite to the articulation of resources through networking.

Earlier this fall, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) engaged in an international exchange by hosting a faculty delegation from Seattle University. This mission occurred just months after a delegation from Javeriana paid a visit to Seattle U in June 2022.

The Seville Campus of Loyola University hosted the International Education Conference IAJU 2022, which brought together more than a hundred representatives of Jesuit universities from 28 countries around the world.

After 3 years of online-only activities, IAJES celebrated its first in-person meeting at Boston College in July 2022.

Father Arturo Sosa offered on August 4th at the IAJU Assembly a speech that emphasised the context of today's world, offering a meaningful Ignatian perspective for all members of the university communities, oriented towards the exercise of the Common Good.

The 2022 IAJU Assembly culminated in regional association meetings to discuss accomplishments, challenges, and future proposals both for the regions and IAJU as a whole. All Assembly participants then gathered together in a final plenary session to report out on the regional meetings.

In 2021, IAJU launched the Four Dreams Film Contest in collaboration with the Jesuit Curia in Rome to celebrate the Ignatian Year. Students at Jesuit higher education institutions around the world were called to submit videos embodying the four Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAPs)
