St Joseph's College, Bangalore in collaboration with XLRI Alumni Association, Safa, an agency based in Hyderabad, Diya Ghar and Hasiru Dala  of Bangalore mobilized more than a hundred volunteers for identifying those who are not covered by ration for the safe distribution of the relief items such as grocery items. We prepared food kits for the needy families, with 10Kg of Rice, 2-5kg Tur Dal, 1-2Kg oil, 1kg salt, 2-3kg Potato, one sambar pack etc. . For the past 21 days  the group prepared around 25,000 kits for the Migrants and slum dwellers and other orphans in Benglauru urban area. The good will of the donors and Jesuit associated is to be appreciated to their sacrifice and commitment to help the needy persons. Jesuits from Bangalore too assisted in preparing the food kits on a daily basis.
