Our School's Annual Interdisciplinary Project is dedicated to the Ignatian Year. The aims of this initiative are to help the school's stakeholders get to know the Jesuits better and to enhance the Jesuit character of the school. July 2022 will be spent first reaching out to staff members, parents and students through recollections based on the Spiritual Exercises, in Nepali. Staff members will research and present the Ignatian Pedagogy Paradigm at a seminar. Class Teachers of Classes 3 to 10 will then work with their students to present brief Class Assemblies covering Foundations and Principles of Ignatius. Class 10 students will go on a mission visit in the Darjeeling Province. Subject teachers along with students will work together to put up an exhibition covering Jesuit-related topics within their subjects - English, Nepali, Math, Sciences, Social Studies, Computers, Visual Arts, Values, Health and Catechism. The School Orchestra, Chorus and Drama and Dance Troupes will work together with the Music and the Arts Team of Teachers to present a musical in English and Nepali - A Life of Purpose - based on the life of St. Ignatius, using Jesuit music, ending with the founding of our school by the Canadian Jesuit, Fr. Edward McGuire SJ. The Project will end with the Ignatian Year Closing Mass.
