This has been quite a month for AJCU Conferences, whose members have gathered on Jesuit campuses for exciting meetings focused on mission, professional development and collaboration. Gonzaga University hosted the annual AJCU Marketing & Communications Network Summit, whose members enjoyed a keynote address from Gonzaga's president, Dr. Thayne McCulloh; sessions on leadership training and development; and, of course, a visit to the Bulldog in front of the athletic complex, as seen above! This week, Le Moyne College hosted the annual AJCU Conference on Diversity and Equity. The meeting's theme was "MAGIS: Breaking the Cycles of Marginalization on College Campuses" and keynote speakers included faculty from two AJCU schools, Canisius College and Loyola University Chicago. Participants are shown above in matching t-shirts; thank you to Bennie Williams of Le Moyne for sharing the photo!

Last weekend, the University of Scranton hosted the biannual gathering of the Jesuit Universities Humanitarian Action Network (JUHAN). The meeting helped students, staff, faculty and alumni from across the Jesuit network to deepen their knowledge about global humanitarian challenges, and offered networking opportunities for recent graduates to learn how to pursue meaningful careers in the field of humanitarian action. And finally, the lovely picture of AJCU Registrars in front of a group of boats at sunset is courtesy of Andrea Wawrzusin of Xavier University. The AJCU Registrars met earlier this spring and look forward to their next gathering at Loyola University New Orleans in April 2020!
